Tek Magazine

This magazine was a conceptual publication with the goal of simplifying technology-related news for the average consumer.

The first issue focused on wearable technology. For the magazine cover and feature article images, I commissioned Krista Perry, an insanely talented illustrator who helped translate the article’s complex concepts with friendly illustrations of monsters wearing the devices. Our goal was to make the article more accessible to readers who may be less tech-inclined.

Second feature of tek magazine focusing on footware. Headline reads "Nike's most expensive & tech filled basketball sneaker ever"

The second feature focuses on technology in the footwear industry. This interview with two of Nike’s top designers focused on their 2012 “Elite” footwear line, where they were challenged to make the most technologically advanced sneakers ever.
